Florencia Castagnola, lawyer and notary public, has more than fifteen years of experience in the area of ​​banking and corporate law. He specializes in financial operations, both local and international, debt restructuring, sovereign debt operations, public and private offering of securities, as well as advice on transactions and regulatory aspects to various companies in the financial sector and the capital market. His practice area also includes mergers and acquisitions of companies and he has advised the main international and national companies as well as banks and financial companies on relevant projects in Uruguay.

He has also focused on advice on compliance issues, including areas such as protection of personal data, prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism, regulatory compliance. Florencia has obtained the Certificate in Money Prevention and Terrorism Financing from ISEDE, Business School of the Catholic University.

She has been recognized by prestigious international publications such as "Chambers & Partners" and "Legal 500" for her outstanding performance in the area of ​​Financial and Banking Law.
