Amiti is a Bitcoin Core contributor focused on the peer-to-peer layer, where she works to improve privacy, testing and robustness. She is passionate about Bitcoin as it is a truly global and inclusive money with the potential to redefine our societal ideas of wealth. She also believes in the importance of technical education and community involvement. In addition to speaking on podcasts and developing thoughtful presentations, she started Bitcoin Bytes and The Bitcoin Zine to encourage public engagement. Amiti is currently co-sponsored by OKCoin and BitMEX. Her other interests include off-trail backpacking, ice climbing, yoga and meditation.
