Martín Benítez Aramendia
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University and a specialization in eCommerce from the University of León. He also studied Marketing and Management at New York University and Stanford. With experience in various e-commerce sites, he entered the world of cryptocurrencies in 2016, completing a Blockchain course at Princeton and subsequently launching the educational portal Bitcoinsycriptos.com. In 2018, he inaugurated Uruguay’s first Cryptocurrency Exchange. Since 2018, he has been the creator and professor of the Cryptocurrency Course at the UCU’s Faculty of Business Sciences. In 2020, he joined C-Effect, a cryptocurrency investment fund, as an Advisor, and in late 2021, he arrived at Ripio as Country Manager with the goal of developing local operations. In 2022, he was appointed Vice President of the Uruguayan Fintech Chamber. He is currently the director of CriptoGuardian, where he helps individuals and companies securely implement self-custody.
