Telly Fernando Ferreira Braz

Telly Fernando Ferreira Braz is a Certified Public Accountant and lecturer at the School of Economic Sciences and Administration (FCEA – UDELAR) in Uruguay, where he teaches various subjects related to technology, accounting, and management, including the course “Blockchain and Accounting.” He also co-teaches the professional course “Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain for Professionals” at the Uruguayan Association of Accountants, Economists and Administrators (CCEAU) alongside Professor Flavia Fernández.

He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Information Systems and IT Business Management, and holds a Certification in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies from the Universidad del CEMA (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Cost and Business Management (FCEA-UDELAR) and is certified in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for SMEs.

Telly is co-founder of Quilin Labs Consultores, a consulting firm specialized in accounting, tax services, and process optimization for both local and international clients. Additionally, he serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Spezial S.A. Importadores and Cabonorte S.A. Telecomunicaciones, where he has led strategic processes linked to emerging technologies.

He was an international speaker at LABITCONF 2024 and has presented at numerous academic and professional conferences, addressing topics such as cryptoasset costing, cryptocurrency mining, and digital transformation in accounting. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Financial Environment Commission of the CCEAU, where he leads research on virtual assets, contributing to technical and regulatory analysis in both local and international contexts.
